I built my first hog finisher in the mid 70's. Remodeled it 10 years later after having some electrical problems. Very little of the romex wiring above the ceiling had any insulation left on it-just 3 bare wires running side by side. Why it did not burn is beyond me. Mice love the insulation-guess it was made from soybeans. I now run all electric in farm buildings in conduit.
Wiring machine shed-conduit or no?
