Only advantage I ever saw when moving baby is with independent arms if you have a bunch of hay jammed up in a tight lot and bales aren't facing for bed to pickup the independent arms are nice. Problem is if you hay is stacked correctly you can have two bales on the truck and be a 1/2 mile down the road with the hydrabed before the cannonball gets its first. Atheist that was my real world side be side experience over 3 years. To me for the guys feeding a few bales a day electric is fine for those of us 15-30 a day it's not even an option.

If your talking about time it takes time to correctly stack bales so they are facing the right way to unroll when loading. I like to row up our hay end to end so the ends look like the day you baled it, back up to a row with my independent arm spin it around so it will unroll and go.
