Tablerock Ranch eastern Wa | Our golden eagles are a force to be reckoned with, they tower over Balds when Balds are waiting there turn at a carcass. Once while mule deer hunting I watched a golden followed a group of deer we spooked, when a large buck split off the group the golden followed, as we watched it closed in and while deer was on a full sprint the Eagle set its wings and dug both talons in the bucks flanks--- we stood silent for a moment until someone asked ---what did you just see ?--- friggin amazing
another time my buddy heard a dog squealing and looked up to see a Golden with a half grown Coyote pup in its clutch flying over the canyon, it landed on a cliff and within seconds the squealing ended. |
