Day Co. SD | This has to be a 82-87 pickup? If you have dual tanks, put a check valve in the line right after the tank valve. It is down on the frame under the cab on the passenger side.
I used to get brass ones from McMaster-Carr. I fixed 4 different pickups with this.
I was gonna switch one to an electric pump like the 90s models. I had a special T made to go into the back of the injection pump even. Never did use it, the check valves always did the trick.
One of mine did have a horrible leak on the throttle shaft too. | |
