NW Ohio | I grind it about two hand throttle bumps above idle on the 4020. I’d say about 30% whole corn, 60% cracked, and 10% powder. Haven’t really had any acidios issues, been feeding that way my whole life. I’m not a huge fan of feeding whole corn but I don’t think it’s that much different. Feed mostly in stuffers as well. Feeding pretty much all sizes of cattle and all breeds lol. Maybe you could mix in a few lbs of soyhulls or oats to help with acidios. Or feed some straw or hay along with it. What’s your ration look like now? | |
