Subject: RE: My little pop up feed mill.

NW Ohio
The little wagon is just a supplement wagon. I had some sbm in a bay on the truck I was dumping into the little wagon while filling the grinder. I pull 425 bu. out of the bin into that grain truck, drive around the block to the neighbors truck scale and weigh. Come back and start grinding it off. I buy all the corn off of by grandpa (his bins in the background) priced off a good grain market 50 miles away at the time I weigh it. Kinda funny, I don’t farm any ground myself, live in town and just put cattle in rented barns all over the place.

I need to get a small feedmill built. I’ve got my eye on a high capacity roller mill. I’d like to build a bin to feed the roller mill, which I would put inside a commodity shed, and just have an electric powered horizontal mixer I can load my ingredients with a skidloader. One project at a time and unfortunately that’s 3rd on the list. Would save a hell of a lot time though.
