I used 12 in a 48x40 shop. Very happy so far.  9 for another individual in his building.

I bought cheap 6' extension cords and made a pigtail for each light to plug into a receptical.  I took down the 400W metal halide and put a receptical in where each light was.  When these fail, just unplug each one and replace.
