We have a 15 and can see the 2 rows on the end of the bar all summer. If I was to do it again it would be 17. In theory it doesn’t make a difference but the eye says different.

Now for the units, if you are looking at the parallel Yetter 2995 I would keep looking. The knives for them are gold plated more than 2x the cost of the mole knife used on a lot of other units.

At work we have one with the parallel units, one with single pivot 2910 Yetters that have the arm for the knife held on by a u bolt, and one with Grover units that is a single pivot but has several 1/2” bolts holding the arm on. Then the unit we have at home is Yetter anhydrous shanks. The one at home is the best for getting in the ground in any condition, we shear some bolts on rocks but usually not a lot. The Grover would be my next pick because the ubolts break.
