techy , you paint things with a pretty broad brush , some kids are able to run a business at 20 others can't at 50 .......unless you are personally involved you don't know what finances, work ethic, addictions, ect. that is in some farm families...........just curious ,did your Dad finance your start in farming?

Kinda goes without saying doesn’t it?

What difference does it make who financed him?

His point is his dad allowed him to make the profits so he can do the same for the next generation.

Kinda means if your Dad gives/gets you land too farm , offers finacing it changes things a lot from ones who have family that can't afford to do that....and no kid should start out "farming" or be in any family business until they have 5 yrs. work experience off farm
