In my house there's one GFCI circuit that handles the garage & both bathrooms. At one point the circuit went dead when the wife was using her hair drier. resetting the breaker did no good, & I was stumped...we did without for a couple months until the electrical engineering student came home from college. I got home one evening & the bathroom outlets were working again, Mom was REAL happy. Kid said that the outside outlet by the back door was on that circuit, & there was a wire burned off that fed the bathrooms...duh...I had not even thought to look at that one. Sometimes all that money you fork out to send them to college pays off...
I have no idea if this whole story applies to your problem, but you might look for another outlet on the circuit.
