I put a ts chip in a combine for exactly the reason you are describing. Also thinking I may be trading in a couple years so 400 sounds better than 2800. My initial thought was wow this thing is now a beast, then I got a few high rail psi codes, still thought it was a beast, after a couple days then I started getting low rail psi at idle once in a while but it just got worse, then I was having a hard time just starting the dang thing. After harvest sent injectors and pump in to rebuild. Injectors were shot, pump just rebuild. Fuel guy don't think that the chip caused the injector problem but just made it worse.
Since I have this stupid chip I will try it again next year but I would recommend no one buy one. This module is basically a rotary resistor that fools the computer to tell it that it needs more fuel.
I would go steinbauer because that is what fuel guys sell but I don't know exactly how they work.
By the way the ts guys are jerks over the phone.
