I really haven't paid much attention to his posts until the urea/nh3 one before Christmas. It was interesting data although it had a lot of variation from rep to rep but still interesting. As I did a search now this morn to look back to see if he's posted other data, every post he's made in the past (that I looked at) refers to we make x equipment, go to my website to see x equipment, we sell x equipment, etc. And then yesterday he gets a little surprised at the tone of a few posters.
If Jim at Dawn would have been this blatant years ago he would have gotten the boot.... Not advocating to boot Lance, however classifieds are where sales pitches go. I don't need to read anymore from him doing self promotion..
You sure complain a lot on here about what other's say on here.
Think if you go back and check there was complaining about what Jim posted about on here in the past about his products as being to commercial like. I don't see what the big deal is about what folks like Lance or Jim posts on here about products they sell. They aren't holding a gun to anybody's head to force them to do anything.
Agree coupster... Jim used to post a lot of interesting data about strip trials, planter operations, etc. He was very straight forward about his company and his role, nobody had to buy anything. His trials and information made a guy (at least one with an open mind) think. But nooooo, several people got their panties shrunk a few sizes and had to raise a fuss. So now we all miss out on good information to make us better. It's pretty easy to tell the difference between an blatant ad and actual trials and results.
