Subject: RE: Raven vs Incommand sprayer monitor

Central Iowa
I will be replacing the steering system as well as I feel the Raven steering is sub par at best. My biggest complaint is the way the programming allows the steering to jump from a locked onto line to another line thats close with zero warning. I've had several instances where the sprayer has almost been upset due to a 90 degree turn at 12mph. On top of the ever present steering danger, the monitor is terrible at rate control. (we have exhausted all resources to fix this issue) We have to use a full set of PWM numbers to make it run simply from 10GPA to 15GPA, along with another set for side dress. Some days it works and some days it wont hold a constant rate. Its been a headache to use and calibrate to run semi descent. So I feel your pain.
