Evansville, WI | If you are leaning towards switching towards liquid, you can usually buy the previous late summer for prices that are decently competitive with NH3. We are able to pay then and pick up or take delivery the following spring. Need to be able to handle semi loads, which are 25 ton here or a little over 4500 gallons. Paid $.27 per pound of N for 2018 and $.32 per pound of N for 2019 for comparison to your fall NH3. Know this doesnt help you for this spring but could help you crunch some numbers.
Some with planter followed by v5 side dress works very well for us.
Nh3 has gone about extinct in our area... down to one local retailer and one more distant retailer. | |
