Well, I have to give you that one. I hope to get to that point one day. I'll never forget the day my dad told me he had a decision to make. He either had to buy new tires for his pickup or buy a new pickup. He bought a new pickup. Unfortunately I have chosen the life of entrepreneurship which equates to broke.
I know what you mean, I also lived a life of make do, don't buy anything you have to finance, buy the cheap one, fix the old junk, do without, until the day my health got so bad I had to quit farming. Suddenly I found myself with more savings than I likely have life to burn through .. Don't really need it, but I like new high tec toys and enjoy them even when they make no financial sense or need.
Be careful, be thrifty, but don't wait too long to enjoy what a life time of work has earned you.
