With your question wouldn’t you just be a manager that’s using his own money and doing the over seeing? If you hired everything out would you even be considered a active farmer? At that point anything over inflation would maybe be doing good? 2-3% profit?
I think if a guy can do 10% margin your probably doing pretty well. Most businesses are 6-7% I believe.
