Churdan, IA | I guess I wasn't very clear in my response to this question. When I was comparing dual placement with nh3, I was comparing dual placement of p&k and nh3 with a broadcast and nh3 program similar to our urea blend vs nh3 and broadcast program. It was in those dual placement vs broadcast and nh3 tests that we saw very little yeild response. Have never done a side by side with dual placement vs urea blend. Would be fun to do sometime though. I found the dual placement program to be very hard to make happen on a large scale with all of the tending and complications of delivering multiple product types. Seemed like something is always running out. We had a hard time getting over 250 acres per day with 24 row equipment...
