Honestly, if it's possible I'd plant a field of beans, plant the corn, and then finish the beans. Realize it'd be a bit of work with switching and clean out but then you could test it for yourself to see if it's economically justifiable. We've planted beans early for quite a few years and while it does make a guy nervous it always seems to have a good ROI considering there's absolutely no other costs involved aside from seed treatment (Ilevo).
