| For a mud room, I would want a large coat closet, or if you don't mind seeing the coats, you could put a nice looking board with hooks. Have a place that you could install cubbyholes for shoes, keep them off the floor. If you make it yourself, you could make them big enough on the bottom row for boots too. Also a bench that you can sit on to put on shoes, but also make it hinged storage for hats, mittens etc. | |
