I just tried reinstalling it on a Win10 laptop that is not my primary book keeping computer and it worked. I've never had too much trouble with using older programs on Windows 10. You do have to have the previous version of Money removed before you can install the Sunset edition.
Also the warnings about "unsupported" may mean there is no tech support, and the free version doesn't have some of the online features, which I never used anyway.
