Buy the tool kit made for that flooring it makes it go easy, dont try and use a crow bar. I laid down a bunch of cheap laminate plank flooring last winter. Its easy. Like others said liquid is the enemy, it may be water proof on the surface but its not in the edges. Our dog peed on mine a week after i finished, we didnt catch it till morning and it had already swelled in the edge, it went away over time for the most part. You also dont have to go under drywall you can just leave a gap running up to it and use a thick trim.

I wouldnt use it at a cabin or some non climate controlled structure. The temp swings and humidity kill it. An occupied home should never have a problem.
