I have a 870 GB loader on a  JD 4430. I just welded two bale spear sleeves and reinforced the quick coupler on the loader that attaches to the bucket. I just pull the two bale spears out if I want to use the bucket. We only put the bucket on about once every other year to take off the loader.   Can get pictures later to today  if you want . We  just use the vloader for round bales and a little forklift work.
