ESW ND | Off the topic, but I've learned to back the tractor away farther from the bale when taking twine off and the cows are around the bale. One time the cows weren't very hungry but were awnry. I cut the twine on the opposite side and went to the other side (closest to loader bucket about 10' space) to pull the twine. Well 2 or 3 cows got into the "bull" mood and pushed that bale towards me. I backed up but it was fast and I was at the edge of the bucket in no time. I slipped by it, but dang, that was close. | |
