Subject: RE: ON FARM DIESEL $$

We filled up yesterday...two tanker loads of #2 red at $1.79/gal....a bit more than we will use through this spring or summer. We simply have not bought it this low for quite some time. My thinking was it is not much different than selling crop when the price is at break even. I am terrible at picking a high or low so just pull the trigger when it makes sense to do so. The low may come around valentines day but i know from experience that $1.79 works but me trying to pick a high or low does not. Just like selling grain I'm going to try to just make decisions based on what works instead of focusing on what I think should happen.
