I almost hate to respond to your question so please take this for what it is worth. I retired from my off farm job almost 4 years ago but the last 8-9 years I worked off the farm I purchased close to two million gallons of diesel ( both on and off road) every year for the company I worked for. I received quotes from 5 or more different suppliers five days per week. I kept spreadsheets of each companies daily quotes and charted the numbers to give myself an easy to follow history. What I learned from that was the yearly low almost always came close to Valentine’s Day.

Since I’ve retired I no longer keep track so no current data to share. Probably somewhere on line or possibly someone who post here may have more current information/charts.
