Are you "sure" that the brand name you are paying for is "all it's cracked up to be"? I know several plumbing contractors that charge double to install MENARDS "DELTA" plumbing fixtures due to missing parts in the kit that is included in the same kit from a plumbing supply house.

Missing parts? Sounds about like the poor quality fixture rumor too. I installed all new delta in our new house 6 years ago from menards. We have replaced nothing, all are used daily, and no issues at all. And we didn't have any missing parts either. I have worked on delta products from the plumbing store that my family bought, they actually have had a few problems.
