Cullom, Illinois | I got tired of the monthly magazine that they sent me with pages of “eat beef” advertising. And you could tell the printing was expensive, not some cheap newspaper type rag. But never, ever a single ad in the local newspaper. They cry it’s too expensive but I’m not saying advertise during the super bowl. Or even Time magazine.
And the conventions are alway in Vegas or some far away place. And always during the most busy times of the year for producers.
They tried to get a local beef association started around here. I attended the meeting and one of the first things they discussed was who was going to help cook steaks at the local fairs. I left. | |
