It's made our part of the state cattle country. My dad said when he was a kid there was no fescue and very little other grasses for cattle to graze. I'd hate to guess how much it's increased stocking rates in the past 60 years. Chickenqueen is right it stockpiles good and makes great winter feed on the stump. I've still got the majority of the cows here on grass and not eating hay yet.
