I use the cloud to store backups all the time, that is very safe as for as the data goes.  Don't remember what cloud service I was using but I put my data file in the folder that was backed up to the cloud.  So there was no opening and closing the file and restoring it to your computer.  In theory, it should have changed all the files on my various computers. I started getting errors and went back to using Teamviewer. I don't think it was Farmworks that I tried this with, it might have been Quickbooks.
