You can try a VPN. Bandwidth can be an issue.
You can extend the network by setting up the ubiquiti point-to-point network radios.
You can try putting the database on a cloud that syncs in back to each location if you aren’t using them simultaneously. Dropbox, MS cloud, Box, etc.
You can throw up your hands and buy an annual subscription to a hosted service, I am generally trying to avoid that.
