NE Ga | Had a 2 year old very independent farm tom cat a few years ago. White with blue eyes. Feeding him one cold winter evening under a shed where lots of stuff was stored. He jumped from item to item under the shed with excitement waiting for food. He jumped off a high shelf on to what I'm sure looked like a solid landing spot. It was an open 5 gal bucket of used 90w gear lube filled to brim. Cat went completely under. Came out and looked half his regular size. Cleaned him up best I could with towels. Was dark by then. Long story short next morning he looked awful and was shivering from being cold. Filled tub with warm water and Dawn dish washing soap. Cat put up absolutely no struggle while cleaning him up. Sat in the tub like a baby. Was happy to get some relief. Have tried to bathe a couple of kittens since with poor results | |
