Statesville, NC | I am working on a KBH tender trailer rear discharge, model TT1000. It had extensions welded on each end, and the middle had boards added and the tarp bows raised, all to haul a low density product. I bought the trailer as a project, and all of the added parts are in rough shape, broken, bent. I'm going to cut all the extensions off, and start over with mounting the tarp, going back to the original height without extensions. The original end caps were straight and peaked in the middle like a truss roof, but only about a 5" rise in the middle. I can get them from KBH. I could also get caps from Agri Cover that are rounded in either a 7" rise or 12" rise. Which would be best? The tarp doesn't fasten down like most grain trailers, it has two cables and ratchet strap hooks that pull it tight. | |
