SE SD | Are there "historical" permits available. You need to research on the down low.
I have worked on a few homes that had a preservation permit.
Some changes and up dates were allowed.
One home was required to put wood shakes on the roof, that added some dollars, but
they also had a grant for historical preservation........ It was a wash :)
