I'm in Minnesota and had the same problem. I don't raise a large number, but get all the bulls fro a 120 cow dairy. The last 2 did exactly what you are saying. I quit getting them till I figured it out. Mine wouldn't respond to any treatment. I wondered if it was clostridium? I will be following to see what others say.
