It was just a big thunderstorm front that came through. Storms are very common here and most of our summer rain comes in thunderstorms, but this one was very intense.

Those pics were taken in a couple of paddocks that are pretty much natural landscape. Open woodland that has never been cleared for Ag so a good range of tree age and lots of small trees coming through to take their place. So they will be replaced naturally. I guess its normal for the big ones to fall over eventually, I wish they wouldn't fall on the fences.
