| Definitely. Like on land some sea invertebrates use camouflage, mimicry, bright colors, physical barriers, animal associations, etc. to survive. In the soft bodied mollusc world the one that is interesting to me is the aeolid nudibranch Glaucus atlanticus that is pelagic(which is unusual) and feeds on and uses the Portuguese man 'o war jellyfish stingers for it's own...... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glaucus_atlanticus Speaking from experience those stingers a searingly painful.
