Subject: RE: Field tile

central - east central Minnesota -

Cobb - 1/7/2019 21:45 Anyone put in their own field tile, as soon as it dries up I want to put in a couple runs in my pasture trap/ corral area to help get rid of some of this water so it doesn't have to run through the corral area to get away. Idea depth, min slope, type of riser pipe to catch runoff , ect. Thanks

I would backfill the trench with pea rock around the tile, at least a foot deep and possible all the way to the surface. That will allow for fast water infiltration to the tile and out of your corral area.
