Franklinton, LA | Giving the land to his son and house to his wife would be a very smart move. If she can avoid a nursing home for a few years Medic Aid will not get the land and it will stay in the family. Medic Aid cannot take her house and the lot. Now she needs to give her money to the children to qualify for Medic Aid benefits.
Some people may not like this approach. However, if the government provides Medic Aid benefits for people who don't save or people who don't work, why not help the people who do work, save and pay taxes?
