Subject: RE: Good value when broken down

West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12

We took the kids to Dinsey World in 2009. I don't remember what the total cost was and don't care.

We took the RV and stayed at the Dinsey World campground. The cost was $49.00/day back then. The same rate as most mom and pop campgrounds were charging at the time.

You get access to the Disney transportation network for "free" to all the different parks when you stay at any of the Disney properties. Most of the transportation from the campground was by boat. That was fun. You have cheaper food options when you pack in as much food food as the RV will hold.

Other people camping by us complained about the $5.00 hot dogs sold in the parks...I honestly thought they were a good value. You got about 3/4 of a pound of meat.

We plan on going back next year when the Star Wars exhibit opens with the boys.

Dad rented a Winnebago back in 1973 and hauled his family to Dinsey World. The park wasn't completely open yet. We spent Christmas in Key West. That was quite an adventure in 1973.
