| No such thing as a good cheap cow, unless you inherited them or found a 1 in a million deal. Nobody is selling their good cows first or for cheap.
Best idea is to probably fork over the coin and buy some 3 in 1 heifers, that your vet palpates. That will tell you alot about the cow, how well she is conditioned, what kind of bag is on her, how fast she bred back. That is probably the cheapest way to get a new herd, even thoigh those are the most expensive cows you can buy. | |
