I'd argue with the second number a bit.
IF (notice the qualifier) you use regular oil sampling and do your maintenance well I've heard of 30k hours not being at all unreachable.
Now that was where equipment piled up the hours but with good maintenance I see no reason to look for a life in the 20k range.

The big difference is that the payloader is a gear connection machine - - - the skid steer is all about hydraulics - - - hydraulics are quite a bit harder to get long life out of - - - at least imo.


The smaller wheel loaders are usually all hydrostat. Have to get up in the 928/938 size to get a mechanical drive.
