$1500 x 500 head is $750,000.
$750,000 at 5% interest for 20 years is $59,400 per year or $118 per head space.
Last shed I built was $60,000 turn key (2012) with working facilities and can hold 2 pot loads of bawlers. Did all the work myself one summer with a couple of helpers.
Lots more work with a garvo shed (bedding, manure hauling) but less investment and you can build another 100 head barn whenever you get a little money.
