Germany | MotoMix is on the euro market since a while. It is also referred to as alkylate fuel and has competitors. The going rate is about 20€ per 5 liters here (original Stihl MotoMix is a little higher). It must be considered that euro gas prices are much higher than US anyway, so that the step is not as steep (1,40 per liter). It has a long shelf life (nice for homeowners) and burns much (!) cleaner than regular fuel mixes. It also is less toxic and stinking if it comes to skin contact. Work safety may be the reason for RR companies to use it. Older equipment might not like it because of existing carbon buildup coming loose. I did not have issues though. The carb might need some adjustment, some people reported that engines were running lean and died from heat. An attentive user would have noticed that, though.
