SW Ohio | I tried the snap off route when credit was bad. Couldn't get out of it fast enough. The way you had to slide the latch sideways to open a drawer, STUPID!! Wrenches that hurt your hands, the list goes on. Got rid of all the tools and traded the box for a Cornwell. Filled it with Cornwell tools and couldn't be happier.
Kids coming out of school get told by the dealer "Hey this one time you get 50% off snap-on" and they tack it onto their student loans and think they got the world by the gonads. Then go work on lawnmowers for $10/hr and can't understand why they can't meet their bills! There is a difference if you're going to be using the tools every day for the next 30 years, it is worth spending the money on quality then, but you have to work your way towards it. Nothing wrong with good old flea market craftsman stuff! I started with it, and keep it at home. Cornwell stuff for the farm now since who knows whats going on with craftsman. | |
