NW TN, Dyersburg | That's excellent advice that we all need to heed. Since Feb. my area, about 10 mi radius, has lost 3 farmers to cancer, ages 61,65 & 68. Two of them, I went to high school with & members of the same FFA chapter. Also lost my Dad (lifelong farming partner) to cancer 3 yrs ago. Yesterday, a good friend (manager of our co-op) had a heart attack at 47 yo, got one stent & looks like he's gonna be ok. It really makes you think & evaluate. Yes, farm work is important but some other things are far more important. | |
