NC Kansas | yep, Levi's have irritated me. The 569's were the perfect jean for me. I still have an old pair that fit great. They are about as thin as wax paper at this point. Then it seems most Levi's (other than 517's but I HATE how they fit) try to skimp on belt loops and sew them on with as little thread as possible. They aren't the same, but check out Ariat M-4. I picked up a pair at Orschelns (farm supply store around here) and really like them. They are a hybrid stretchy denim that I've kinda grown to like. They have 2 more belt loops around the back and look like a normal jean. I think they were $39.99 which is cheaper than Levi's now and these are twice the jean.
I also have tried some carhart work pants (not blue denim) and like how they fit, deep pockets, good belt loops but they seem to snag easy and not sure they will last. | |
