Liberty, MO | I had my closing out farm sale on Dec 8th ,76 yrs old and been farming full time since 1969, lived on the same rented farm since 1974, and farmed somewhere between 500 and 1200 acres corn and soybeans,on several rented farms. My wife helped me get moved around to all the fields, mostly within a 10 mile radius of the home place and grain cart driver when we couldn’t get the semi in the fields. Kept my semi for something to do hauling grain and fertilizer for the local elevator and some neighbors. This old country boy has lived in KCMO area for the past 19 years, but you can take me outta the country , but you can’t take the country outta me.
Thank goodness for AG TALK, gives me something to do every day when not trucking. . | |
