Monett Missouri
I had some big n quick crabgrass the last two summers. As with any summer grass. No grazing until it gets hot and stays hot. In SW MO I got 3 cuttings if mowed every 30-40 days. The stuff likes nitrogen fertilizer. More N equals more hay. If grazing get on it early and stay after it. It will get ahead of you quick once the weather- rain cooperate.
