We're located in northeast Alabama looking at grazing 500-800 pound calves this summer. Options are millet or crabgrass. Anyone do this? What kind of gain could be expected if there's a descent amount of grass for 100-120 days? We've grazed ryegrass, rye, and fescue over the winter but never anything in the summer. Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks!
