| We are running it with a 2500 dome, so just waas correction. We've adjusted settings quite a bit, but it just doesn't handle corners very well. Our fields are mostly weird shapes, so very few straight rows. Then when it can't make the first corner, it just makes each pass progressively worse.the topcon makes the same curve and sharper no problem. I'm guessing a lot of that is due to integrated steering vs mechanical.
Either way, the only reason we used the ontrac was because that tractor didn't have a steering valve. Since we are switching planter tractors, whatever we do will be with the integrated steering on the agco, whether it is the x30 running it, or the ag leader. Although getting the other tractor to the point it could spray with auto steer would be nice. | |
